Fashion Photography:

I decided to develop my fashion photography by exploring the use of different models and outfits, however the weather was fairly intermittent when doing this shoot so I chose to focus mostly on the fashion side of the photography rather than ensuring the sun was prominent in every photograph. 

This photograph is effective as the model's positioning emphasises the importance of the clothing as it ensures that the dress is the focal point of this photograph. The angle of which the photograph is taken also emphasises the fashion as it allows the whole of the dress to be seen. 

This photograph effectively meets the fashion brief however the sun is not evident enough. The use of the phone box was effective as it framed the model and the bright red contrasts well with the blue jacket of the model. These bright colours allow the model to stand out within the photograph as she is pale and there is a high level of contrast between the model and background.

This photograph is effective as the sun is evident alongside the fashion. The model's positioning is effective as she fills the majority of the frame, ensuring that the clothing is the focal point. I also think the positioning of the clothing is effective as it shows the more playful nature of fashion photography seen in magazines such as Teen Vogue. 

If I were to retake my fashion photography photos I would take them on a day where the sun was more permanent to ensure that all my photos had a clear element of sun. This would have also given me a better idea of the settings needed to photograph people in the sun and would have therefore made my final photo shoot a more efficient process.
